Yash Mehta

Currently overloading on caffeine and trying to meet new people

Singapore

Yash Mehta, professional portrait

The short version.

I sell enterprise software during the week and try to meet interesting people during the rest of it. CS engineer by training, with time spent in venture capital, AI, and fintech. Persistent habit of talking to strangers.

Born in the UK, roots in India, but Singapore has been home for twenty years. I stayed for the people, the food, and the kind of energy you only get in a city that never quite sits still.

Things I care about

The threads that connect most of what I do.

Coffee

The best conversations I've had started over a cup. Flat white, usually. I will judge your order, gently.

Chess

Still learning, still losing to the same openings. If you play, that's already a reason to meet.

Long walks

The thinking kind. East Coast Park at 6pm, or anywhere the city lets you be quiet for a while.

Building things

AI tools, sales processes, side projects. I like the part where something that didn't exist starts working.

Good questions

I'd rather ask what you're figuring out than what you do. The second one has a script. The first one doesn't.

"Ask me about any of these over coffee."

If you've read this far, we should probably just meet.

I'm always up for coffee with someone curious. No agenda, no pitch. Just a conversation and whatever we end up talking about.
